Problem/Motivation

The Reactions 1.x branch needs a clean Drupal 10/11 base module scaffold before the Voting API-backed storage, field, formatter, and UI work can be implemented.

The current repository contains legacy Drupal 6-era reactor/backtype code. That code does not match the planned Reactions architecture and should be removed from the new 1.x implementation.

Proposed resolution

Create a minimal base reactions module scaffold.

The scaffold should include:

  • Drupal 10/11 module metadata.
  • Composer metadata for drupal/reactions.
  • A dependency on Voting API.
  • Initial README documentation.

This issue should not add runtime APIs, permissions, services, fields, forms, controllers, or formatters. Those will be handled in follow-up issues.

Remaining tasks

  • Add reactions.info.yml.
  • Add composer.json.
  • Add initial README.md.
  • Remove obsolete Drupal 6 reactor/backtype implementation files.
