Meeting Purpose
Define the Member Platform roadmap and align on development priorities.
Key Takeaways
- CRM is the Foundation: The CRM module is the prerequisite for Member Platform; its CSV migration tool must be functional before membership features can be prioritized.
- Membership Logic Overhaul: The CRM Membership module requires a major refactor to use the CRM's native relationship entity, replacing its current text-based status field.
- New Use Case Validates Need: A new prospect managing 10k–50k members with complex business rules (e.g., a 9-month paid term with a 3-month free extension) confirms the need for a highly configurable platform.
- "Conformance" Module Introduced: Adam demoed a new module for audit/compliance (WCAG, AI content), built with a plugin-based architecture to address a key market demand.

@3:39 - steven.ayers
I think it's just you and me, Adam. Adam.
@3:41 - Adam John
Okay. Can you hear me? I heard you, Steve.
@3:45 - steven.ayers
Yeah, I can hear you.
@3:47 - Adam John
Sweetie. Okay, I was worried there for a second because I was like, it is dead silent.
@3:52 - steven.ayers
What the hell? I mean, what the heck? I mean, there's so many note takers.
@4:04 - Adam John
Yeah, I think it's just a matter of time before they start talking to each other. We might be a generation away from that, but Russians move so fast these days.
@4:17 - steven.ayers
Yeah, I don't think anyone else is going to be joining us.
@4:21 - Adam John
Oh, okay. Oh, that's too bad.
@4:24 - steven.ayers
I don't know what he's doing, but he's not going to be here.
@4:29 - Adam John
Yeah, I remember he said something. He put it in chat, I think it was last week, that he wouldn't, and he didn't ask me to this time, and I knew I would have been told on time, so I didn't want to be throttled with the responsibility of running the, of course, it's pretty much automated people that would show up, but so I know that one of the things I wanted to talk to you about, Steve, was around the module stuff and actually committing code.
And I would put out the idea, and I don't know, I honestly don't remember if you were in the room, if you have thoughts around the idea of whether the modules is fully fleshed out as far as, not fully, but as far as architecture, or if we start with the all-in-one bucket like you do with smaller businesses and smaller, that may become something larger.
We know it will become something larger, but we start with more things in the bucket than we know. And we organize it in a way that we can pull it apart and put it in separate modules or sub-modules and all that.
But we start with one bucket of code. Do you understand the kind of split there, what I'm saying? Am I not explaining it?
@5:43 - steven.ayers
I think so. mean, there's already several other projects that are in various states.
@5:50 - Adam John
Right.
@5:52 - steven.ayers
And I know there's been a lot of discussion around the CRM membership module.
@5:56 - Adam John
mean, there's been CRM module. Yes.
@5:59 - steven.ayers
So...
@6:00 - Adam John
That needs a lot of love. Yes, I'd agree with that. So I don't know if I've even looked at the CRM membership module.
@6:13 - steven.ayers
Is that the one that, what's his name? Sven?
@6:18 - Adam John
Yeah. Sven is working on?
@6:22 - steven.ayers
He did contribute a large bit of the code base. I don't know how active he is. He had some client, some project that is using it, or I'm not sure.
@6:41 - Adam John
Okay. I mean, there are two questions here that I think are key to us doing the right thing. One is, what's the need?
What are people going to actually try and use? And what is the directionally best thing for the project that will fall under the umbrella of membership?
I have no idea what member platform would be. Yeah, don't think any of us do. I certainly have a vision for it.
I certainly have a, you know, my own paradigm, call it. My vision is that we have a family of modules that are within member platform itself, and then, you know, key modules that still connect to different things, CRM, you know, whatever else.
Something with events, something with groups, you know. Yeah, I think conceptually, that's the direction I'm thinking. And that would include recipes and templates and, you know, anything else that people find useful for standing up a site that uses member platform as a core capability, a core set of capabilities.
Does that make I think CRM is the ecosystem where things are being built. Yeah, because it's my understanding. It's what existed, and it's what needed love, and definitely needs continued work and contribution.
And there's a very tight integration there with what member platform as a concept would do, too. So, yeah, it makes a lot of sense that CRM gets the most attention right now to me.
@8:30 - steven.ayers
Well, mean, like, there's the CRM membership. Right? That seems like that would be the core of any sort of member platform.
@8:40 - Adam John
Whatever it takes. Yeah. So, yeah, I'm just searching to see if I can find what exists right now for CRM membership commerce.
That's interesting. Yeah, allows you to purchase memberships.
@9:06 - steven.ayers
The big changes that need to go through for a membership is we need to switch over to the relationship entity that comes out of CRM to handle which actual people are members of what actual organizations.
And probably some sort of tie in with like, if you're a member of household, you would be granted membership.
If your household has membership, some sort of capable system is like delegating a point to another existing relationship to handle the creation of the memberships.
@9:55 - Adam John
Yeah, I can see a lot. I can see a lot of complexity. And I think it's got to move over to like the workflow system, which isn't actually a candidate for a member platform solution, even if it is a workflow.
I mean, yeah.
@10:17 - steven.ayers
Right now, it's status is a select field of text. Yeah. And it should be a Boolean and there should be some other field there that handles the workflow just like you would for content moderation.
Or we do something similar for CRM case for support cases.
@10:39 - Adam John
Yeah. And so with that part of the wrapper there with membership platform would be that whatever the sensible default is, is encoded as a happy path.
And then integrated workflow was a more complex path. That would be my thinking around that. But it actually begs a bigger question to me.
Yeah. And the bigger question is, what's the roadmap for CRM and for CRM membership? What's the roadmap there?
@11:08 - steven.ayers
We're probably trying to get CRM to a release candidate before membership becomes a priority. I've been spending more time focusing on the name field.
@11:22 - Adam John
It's just one of the dependencies.
@11:26 - steven.ayers
It's down to only a handful of few things, so I should be able to move my focus off of the name project.
And focus more on getting some CRM stuff done. I need to have the CRM CSV migration working. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it has to be good enough for people to use.
@11:49 - Adam John
I mean, right, if people are going to use the software, they need a way to get their data in there, and that sounds like the most accessible.
Yeah, I think that's... The lowest common denominator as far as data import, there's obviously other solutions that would be better longer term, but I think that's a fantastic, my opinion is it's a fantastic place to start.
I would focus equally on import-export just because of my beliefs around that, but I don't think export is an issue.
It just becomes an issue when you have multiple relationships and entities.
@12:22 - steven.ayers
Well, part of the export question is like, there's, there's an item in there for being compliant with schema.org.
@12:38 - Adam John
Are you looking to make your key for standard membership?
@12:42 - steven.ayers
Pardon?
@12:44 - Adam John
Or you said there's an item in there where?
@12:46 - steven.ayers
Oh, in the CRM backlog.
@12:49 - Adam John
Okay.
@12:50 - steven.ayers
It'll probably be a separate project.
@12:53 - Adam John
Right.
@12:54 - steven.ayers
But I would think we'd want to take the rest module and integrate with that. And use custom REST resources to represent people and organizations as schema.org does.
@13:08 - Adam John
So the fact that addresses are separate entities, we're going to sort of hide that. Would it make sense for you and I to have a conversation offline?
This is a WCM stuff that I think is very worth conversation and fleshing out. So I just don't know what your feels are on that.
If you want to keep it and work on it based on how you think about it, or if the project would benefit from you and I talking about it in some way and kind of figuring out that roadmap in a little more detail.
@13:49 - steven.ayers
For membership or for expert?
@13:55 - Adam John
Well, centrally for CRM and for your project. But I'm most interested in, how it interacts with member platform, of course, but there's definitely a bunch of threads pull in what we've covered so far.
And I just want to try to be an asset to whatever needs to happen. I didn't answer it. I tried to answer your question, but did you feel that was an answer?
@14:22 - steven.ayers
Yeah, so you're looking to see how membership would be put together?
@14:27 - Adam John
That would be helpful.
@14:29 - steven.ayers
Yeah, I've got some ideas.
@14:35 - Adam John
Okay.
@14:36 - steven.ayers
I mean, it's got to have the same feature set, but not necessarily implemented the same way, SAVCRM.
@14:46 - Adam John
Right.
@14:47 - steven.ayers
So we have different durations or periods of membership. That's a plugin system. I feel like that's extensible enough where we can, if not currently meet the...
@15:00 - Adam John
Feature set of CiviCRM, it can be expanded and, you know, it's a plug-in system.
@15:08 - steven.ayers
It can be made to work. Part of it is I want to get the relationships to be used instead of using a different entity.
Just to sort of, not just eat our own dog food, but there's going to be a lot of additional features, I feel like.
That would just be good to use that as a base so they could be leveraged later.
@15:32 - Adam John
I agree. Does that kind of speak to a membership management component within member platform that's kind of a priority?
Is that what I'm, would you synthesize the same thing from what we're saying? I don't really know what the member platform roadmap would be.
We don't have a roadmap per se.
@15:54 - steven.ayers
We have certainly some things about that if I'm near-term roadmap.
@15:57 - Adam John
But I think longer-term is a little more ambiguous.
@16:04 - steven.ayers
Well, you had, I think, an example of the Salvation Army or something similar.
@16:11 - Adam John
Yeah.
@16:12 - steven.ayers
Have you tried importing your data? Do you need that CSV module, I guess?
@16:19 - Adam John
Yeah, would be, I've certainly worked around that capability, but it would be, It nice to have something like that built in.
What I did actually this past couple weeks was something totally different. Not totally different, but I created a module I call Conformance.
Do you have any experience with audit and compliance?
@16:46 - steven.ayers
Not a lot, but I know it's a thing.
@16:53 - Adam John
It's a thing. Let me show my screen real quick just so I can show it to you and whoever sees this video afterwards, if you guys, guys and gals, I should say, but if you folks like it, then great.
If not, then fine. But what I've seen is a lot of demand for, you know, there's a lot of agencies and educational institutions.
There's some drivers around compliance and audit right now. There's a, I think it's today or yesterday, there's a deadline that was pushed back a year for some, for education, higher education, higher education.
But anyway, there's a bunch of...
@17:28 - steven.ayers
Like accessibility on it?
@17:30 - Adam John
Yeah. Yeah. So here's... Let me... Can I share my screen when I'm not on the app? Yes, I can.
All right. Operating system settings. Sure. Allow. And I don't know. Can you... Oh, there we go. I'm just going do the entire screen.
And you can see I was pulling up some things around CRM. All right. So this is the sandbox module conformance.
SCREEN SHARING: Adam started screen sharing - WATCH
There's a lot of around it that's not on the Drupal Dog, but I'm doing Drupal on WordPress. Both... Curit is written for both.
The idea is... I thought of it because you said exactly, you know, extensible. You said plug-in. had a bunch of keywords that I was like, well...
Let me just mention this. You're right. You know, you have to build something in a way that's plug-in-able if it's going to work.
So, well, and then this is an example of, I didn't, you know, the model of making something where all things go in one bucket versus splitting it out.
I split it out because, and there's really deep intent on that. If you know there's, yeah, so I don't, I'm sure.
Or I'm sure folks don't have thoughts, but May 11th was the date, is the date that's coming up for, yeah.
And it was around now. But yeah, there's a bunch of drivers that this could be useful for. And right now what I'm sure is happening, I know what's happening from friends, is, you know, these organizations are getting charged for tooth and nail.
Is that the right word? They're getting charged a lot, but it's probably solved. It's not being solved in a way that's open in the community.
And I think that's fundamentally, I have an issue with that. But anyway, that's the compliance part. But there's also a part of compliance and regulatory reports coming down the line for when content, tags, et cetera, is generated by AI, whether it's images, alt tags on images, or content itself, articles, you know, whatever, then there are needs that are emerging in that.
so it ties into our AAI initiative that is taking place. But anyway, it's a forward-thinking kind of idea for conformance.
I don't know. I've said a lot of words.
@20:25 - steven.ayers
Are you following? Yeah.
@20:27 - Adam John
Yeah. Okay.
@20:31 - steven.ayers
Yeah, WCAG, I think that's how it's pronounced.
@20:35 - Adam John
WCAG?
@20:37 - steven.ayers
I lost you a little bit. WCAG Oh, WCAG?
@20:45 - Adam John
Ah. Yeah. Yeah. There's, I think, a module out there that already does some stuff with CDFs. Yes. CDF-LIA. Yeah.
There were a couple of modules I found that we would work with, not looking to replace the function before, but yeah, definitely some specialized modules in the area.
The key is workflow primitives, right? So, yeah, I'm defining this space, conformance. It's an intentional choice. I don't know.
If you have more thoughts, then feel free. I just have to grab this call real quick. I'm sorry. Hey.
No, it's okay. Hey, Steve? Steve, you still there?
@32:15 - steven.ayers
Uh, yeah. Oh, there's other people here.
@32:18 - Adam John
Other? Oh.
@32:19 - steven.ayers
Yeah, other people.
@32:21 - Adam John
Hey, Eric and Janice. Hey, guys. Steve, I was just talking about... But CLM, CLM membership, and member platform, and all those things kind of tied together.
Unfortunately, Steve, I'm going go a little while longer. I've got to wrap up this call that I'm on, and I don't know how long it's going to take.
So I didn't want you to hang out if you're the only person. But yeah, if Eric and Janice and you guys want to talk about, you saw the agenda that JD put out.
If you guys have things to add, then please proceed. I'll just go back on mute, and thank you. I'll be back if you guys are still around, but if you're not, don't feel the need to hang on.
@33:18 - steven.ayers
Anyone have thoughts or topics they want to discuss?
@33:32 - Janice
Hi, this is Janice here. Sorry that I haven't been able to join for the past few weeks. Can someone actually kind of give a very brief update on where everything is, I guess, if you don't mind?
I mean, just, I guess, status on what stage it is right now. I'm not sure if I know. Okay.
Thank you.
@34:17 - steven.ayers
I know that Adam has, I think it's the Salvation Army, but But it could be some other organization that he's interested in, in using membership.
So maybe this is true for you. I was just, after you get your contacts loaded into the system, you know, what are your needs?
@34:45 - Adam John
Hey, I'm back. I heard a little bit, I heard my name. And then I heard a question, I think it was from Janice, about where things are at.
So, I guess, where things are at, Janice, is there are several work streams that I think JD's outlined and a couple things that were in the agenda.
But I would ask, so I can answer that, at least to my knowledge, and Steve will certainly, I think, augment or improve the knowledge.
So I can answer best, what brings you to member platform? What are we looking for? What's your need? I on?
@35:39 - steven.ayers
Did you hear me, Steve? hear you.
@35:41 - Adam John
Okay.
@35:42 - Janice
Yes, I heard you as well. Thank you.
@35:44 - Adam John
Okay, sure. Okay. So, I mean, sorry if it wasn't phrased properly, Janice, and I don't mean to put you on the spot, but I want to be able to answer your question as far as where things are in a way that makes sense based on what you're looking for.
So, I'll start with the general answer to say that there's existing right now no code around member platform itself, but rather a coordinating effort between CM as one of the cornerstone players and then a couple other pieces that we've discussed over the last couple of weeks.
Where Mender Platform will probably come out with something as far as our code, but that's still being worked on exactly what it is.
And you can be a part of helping us figure out what that is by sharing perhaps a little of your story and what brings you to Mender Platform and what's important to you.
You mean me? You mean me? Yes.
@36:53 - Janice
Oh, okay. I have a project management background and I think I was actually like finding quite interesting when I came across the project and I just feel like I do have someone in mind already that may be able to use this platform.
So let's say if I do want to kind of try to promote this, right? Is there a link or is there anything that I can just show them or what is the best route?
I think to go about it, because I do have someone who needs to manage a lot of different clients or members.
@37:33 - Adam John
Okay. That sounded like a very CRM-centered use case, which is what we found with a number of the use cases.
So it fits in that way. And what kind of things are important as far as features with them that you're looking for?
@37:54 - Janice
I mean, the fact that they're able to send automatically an email reminder, I believe, to all the members, I think that's very helpful.
Because they do have a pretty big client database that they do want to make. I mean, as someone who is on the go or want to spend more time to...
Be meeting with client or potential client. I don't think they necessarily want to spend a lot of time to actually manage their database.
And it seems to be something that they can really help them save time. I think in the society nowadays with everyone pretty much want to be more efficient.
I think this will be something that they would want to look at.
@38:55 - Adam John
Okay. What is pretty big, just so I have a sense of scale for this?
@39:01 - Janice
What is pretty big, like 10,000 people? I'm not sure, to be honest with you, but I just know that it's going to be at least four digits and above, or five digits and above.
Yeah. So, I mean, I do want to take a look at the finished product, I guess, because when I joined, I think I was in.
You very, I mean, it wasn't even launched yet, so.
@39:30 - Adam John
Yeah, so I'm going guess in a 10 to 50,000 user range, your Drupal solution from that point of view is going to have to be pretty tight, pretty good from an architecture standpoint.
It depends on what you're using Drupal 4 besides sending messages, if you're using it for anything else, like hosting attachments or user profiles and things like that.
Those are all going to make your architecture, they're going to impact how you want to solution that. But it sounds like a complex enough use case that, is it just you or do you have folks helping you out or what's the?
@40:17 - Janice
Oh, no, I am, I mean, I'm interested in helping out in any way that I could. If it's possible.
actually, yeah, I mean, I do want to help both ways, right? I mean, the founder and also at the same time, if I can give some value to those people who are so busy managing their client, I mean, meeting their client and managing their client database, I think that would be just very helpful.
ACTION ITEM: Share Florida demo link in Slack for Janice - WATCH
So it's a win-win situation, I feel like.
@40:55 - Adam John
Sure. Yeah, good.
@40:59 - Janice
Is there something that we can send to them or can I refer them to, like for a demo? How does that work?
@41:14 - Adam John
Yeah, Steve, I'm trying to find him that it's the thing for what was built for the Florida presentation. Can we point to that some more in that?
Slack, perhaps? Yeah, there's a section on the homepage. Adam, I think there's some reverb coming back off of your mic, maybe?
Probably. Yeah, I'll be more aggressive with the mute button.
@41:40 - steven.ayers
sorry, yeah. No worries. So your clients or your clients who have a client database, so that would be more like a traditional business environment, or is there like a membership aspect to it?
@42:02 - Janice
I believe there is a membership aspect to it, but how would that integrate to the database? That's something that I don't know the details about, but if they become a member, I mean, of course, there are potential clients or like postback, right, that they actually approach, and then there are...
People that is actually internal member and then there is inactive member who used to be, because the membership do expire if they don't actually keep on renewing it.
So, and it'll be great that there will be reminder to remind the owner, oh, like, you know, this member membership is coming, like, it's about to expire.
You may want to actually set up a time to meet with them. And, you know, I think those will be very helpful instead of, and then do they somehow actually integrate that into like a Google calendar or some kind of calendar so that everything is all in one place for the business owner?
Yeah.
@43:19 - steven.ayers
There currently is an integration with calendars, but I would imagine that would be something that. At least with the events, we would want to be set up, and I imagine maybe it could be handled.
don't know. It sounds like a future.
@43:36 - Adam John
Yeah, exactly, Steve. There are some key things around WebDAV and how calendars and events are. It's not a simple topic, and it's not as simple as it seems, at least, from a data and synchronization standpoint.
@43:53 - Janice
Got it.
@43:55 - Adam John
Thank you. The simple answer is yes, there are things that exist. It depends on specifics around the business, around the U.K.s.
@44:07 - Janice
I mean, they do have an option to extend it for free for three months, but then at the same time, I mean, they don't know.
I mean, the first-time member will have no idea how to actually do that, right?
@44:24 - Adam John
So they do have to kind of... Talk to the owner regarding how to go about it. I lost something though.
Extend what for free for three months?
@44:34 - Janice
I'm kind of a little confused. Yeah, so basically they pay for a membership for nine months. And if they're interested in staying on the platform, they can actually extend for free for three months.
So that way, basically, they pay one set price and then they got 12 months of membership, right? But they do have to extend it.
It's a free extension for the next three months. So they do have to actually take the action to extend it in order to get those three months for free.
So yeah. And then, of course, after one year, if they decide not to renew it, then they become an inactive member who is like a past member, I guess they will consider it.
Sure. Sure.
@45:24 - Adam John
Yeah. then... That term and those circumstances, they fall squarely within the business rules for how you construct the solution.
So I'm wondering, is there an existing platform that they're moving from right now?
@45:40 - Janice
No, they're trying to manage it in a way that is a lot easier. Like I mentioned, they're trying to save time, right?
So I guess that's something that they may want to actually look at if this can help them with what they want to achieve.
@45:57 - Adam John
Yeah, and I think the answer is yes, but, and so the but part is important. It's going to come down to some kind of some technical things and putting the solution together.
Is this, are you exploring this on your own or are you, like, is this a known client relationship or a firm relationship?
ACTION ITEM: DM Janice your phone #; schedule private discovery call w/ Steve; loop JD - WATCH
Like what's the, it sounds like this is an offline, like this conversation. Janice is recorded, and other people listen to it, and there may be some details that you want, that you'd be willing to share and talk about, but maybe not in this forum.
Is it something that we, Steve, and either you and whoever else would want to be involved, but is it something we might circle up with you privately to answer some questions that are better in a non-public forum?
@46:47 - Janice
Sounds good. No problem. Yeah. Okay. Did I actually message you directly, like, my WhatsApp number? I don't know where in the world you are, so I just...
@46:59 - Adam John
Yeah. Yeah, I'm not sure in New York area, but, yeah. Oh, that sounds like that's a good thing.
@47:08 - Janice
Yeah, I mean, you're in, I mean, you're a phone call away, basically. I'm also in the U.S., so...
@47:14 - Adam John
Cool, cool. Okay. Yeah, so just hit me up on the back, and Steve, I'll keep you looping in. JD, when you listen to this later, happy to loop you in as well, so...
Whoever wants to be from the contribution team, whoever wants to be involved. then, Janice, the reason I'm saying that is so that we can have all the great people in the room to help you out.
@47:37 - Janice
Sounds good.

I'll just send you my phone number. I see. Great. Awesome. Got it. All right. We also have Eric in the room, I think, maybe.
@47:50 - Eric Wheeler
You there, Eric? Yeah, I'm here.
@47:54 - Adam John
What are you looking for?
@47:59 - Eric Wheeler
Nothing at the moment. I was just joining. I'm not. Feeling great.
@48:05 - Adam John
I woke up from a headache so bad I was sick. So I'm just seeing if there was anything else going on.
Yeah, I think we'll probably wrap up here soon. I just want to make sure that everyone in the room had a chance to cover things if they wanted to.
Still. Steve, I'm obviously off my call now if you wanted to circle back on that conversation we were having.
I think it's probably something we can just pick up another time as well.
@48:34 - steven.ayers
Well, you mentioned that you're looking to maybe use this for some organization. I don't remember the exact name. It's not important.
But once you had the data, say, loaded into the system, what are you looking to do? Are you looking to just track?
Are looking to take payments? Do you need to send emails?
@48:57 - Adam John
Do have a question? The answer is yes. So, yeah, as with anything, the more you give a client, the more they want, right?
I think priority-wise, I think just information sharing emails is a key driver, and that's why when we had that conversation a couple weeks ago where we were talking about
When we had the light solution thing that we were integrating with somebody, working with somebody on, that's why I had so many, you know, directional type questions around it.
But email is the first class issue first, because without communication, the platform doesn't serve its purpose. So email is first, and then things along the direction of profiles and directories are, I should say, were a primary concern.
But as soon as you tell them that this is a primary concern, okay, we can do that, this is what doing that looks like, then we move on to, well, then there's this.
So it's been more of a kind of interesting discovery, you know, you have a discovery call, and it covers a certain scope, and then you're, you...
Win that scope. then the next call, they're one of those where the next call is scope shifts. So I need to figure out the underlying pieces of that before we go any further with them.
But I don't know if that answers your question. Does it?
@50:44 - steven.ayers
So from your perspective, what happens when a membership for somebody laps?
@50:49 - Adam John
In my mind, when a membership lapses, there's got to be business rules around it. So this is from the various different, as you know, I have a bunch of different organization tie-ins where I've been active for a long time.
And they all deal with things generally differently. Some, you know, they want to retain their user profile. And, like, I have one where literally, because of the audience involved, they have a two-year tail on when a lapse takes place.
The first year, they look just like Any other member except for one field. then the second year, they go into a more obvious, but they're still listed, and they still issue membership cards two years after the membership lapses.
And it's because of their audience and what they dealt with that and their headache around restoring a member. And membership, the problem is when you have multiple member IDs when that has happened.
So my problem with that is saying that making that very configurable is going to be, and I'll use ECA a lot for that kind of stuff.
So some custom kind of outlines around ECA fundamentals, that makes sense. Are they currently being tracked inside of a Drupal system, or is this...
I don't know which one you're talking about.
@52:32 - steven.ayers
The Army one?
@52:36 - Adam John
It is. I wouldn't say aspirational is probably a little too light, but it's project scoping and budgeting is the current phase.
@52:54 - steven.ayers
Do they have their data just in spreadsheets or is it stored somewhere else?
@52:58 - Adam John
It's another system. It's a proprietary system where they recognize the long-term problem with that. They've seen incremental year-over-year increases in cost without increases in real net benefit, even though you can read a 10-page marketing sheet about it.
But if the people doing the work aren't seeing the value, then that's very difficult. We were at 55 minutes, so I'm going to move on to other things, but this has been helpful.
Thank you, Eric, joining. Thank you, Janice, for joining. Thank you, as always, Steve, for everything you bring to the table, because it's awesome.
And I'm going to drop off. You guys are certain for you to stay and talk about and be on my hack.
All right. Have a good one. And anybody listening from the digital realms, make it a great day. Talk to you guys later.
@54:28 - Eric Wheeler
I'm going to drop off, too. All right.
@54:32 - steven.ayers
I'll see you in Chicago, then.
@54:35 - Eric Wheeler
Yeah, yeah.
@54:37 - steven.ayers
All right. Bye.
@54:38 - Eric Wheeler
Bye.
