Problem/Motivation
Mac_Weber did not respond to the 2025 Annual Core Maintainer Check-In and has been unresponsive throughout the 4-week confirmation period.
As per the Core subsystem maintainer policy, maintainers who do not confirm their continued involvement will be removed from MAINTAINERS.txt.
Proposed resolution:
Remove Mac_Weber’s name and contact details from the MAINTAINERS.txt entry for the Link Field subsystem.
Remaining tasks:
- Commit the update to MAINTAINERS.txt
- Notify the Core Committers Slack channel when merged
No UI/API/Data model changes.

needs-review-queue-bot commentedThe Needs Review Queue Bot tested this issue. It no longer applies to Drupal core. Therefore, this issue status is now "Needs work".
This does not mean that the patch necessarily needs to be re-rolled or the MR rebased. Read the Issue Summary, the issue tags and the latest discussion here to determine what needs to be done.
Consult the Drupal Contributor Guide to find step-by-step guides for working with issues.

Committed to 11.x, 11.2.x, 10.6.x, and 10.5.x. I'll also do the admin tasks, such as updating the core node, the Google group, the maintainer channel and the past maintainer page.
