Problem/Motivation

UI Kit update https://github.com/civictheme/uikit/issues/642 introduces a new variable to set the vertical spacing on messages. This should be brought back to the status message template to correctly space Drupal system messages.

Verified and tested on latest dev version

Testing Results:
1. Verified that system messages no longer have default outer margin applied
2. Confirmed the 'Both' type of vertical spacing is applied to status messages
3. Verified status message message displays correctly across different viewports
