Problem/Motivation

An AJAX error appears when I try to change the job's scheduler or logger in the edit form.

An error occurred during the execution of the Ajax response: TypeError: $wrapper[method] is not a function

And no records in the DBLog.

Steps to reproduce

Drupal core 11.1.6, PHP 8.4.6

  1. Install the module
  2. Go edit any of jobs, for example, /admin/config/system/cron/jobs/manage/update_cron
  3. Change the Scheduler or Logger from the default value to another one

The fix here is to use replaceWith instead of replace as AJAX method (change record).

We found this issue because we use the same replace ajax command on our custom code, and after changing to replaceWith, the error is gone.
We also tested it with ultimate_cron and solved the issue.
