Problem/Motivation

Improve the design of the site, landing page, and UX:
- As an IXP I would like to have a login and clear instructions on how to use the site.
- As a company member (mentor) I would like to have a login that grants my access to the organization.
- As a company admin I would like to create a new organization and invite new members to my team.
- As a reviewer I would like to have a login
- As a site admin I would like this to be simple

Steps to reproduce

Open http://drupal-ixp.site/ and create a new user

Round 2 revision.. open to feedback

  • New Logo for Initiative following Drupal's Brand Guidelines
  • Portal Login for Organizations, Volunteer Reviewers, IXP Developers
  • Link to the Main IXP Initiative Page on Drupal.org
  • One Registration form with Role selection displayed prominently against a Drupal Brand approved gradient
  • Icon list of Benefits to Organizations - Focus is on reminding Org's that are on the fence about participating
  • Logo List of Current Companies supporting the initiative - this can help persuade others to enroll

Question 1: What information needs to be collected at time of registration?

If it's a lot of information, it will be better user experience and higher completion rate to be a multi-step form with short digestible content so as not to overwhelm.

Question 2: Are we calling it IXP Program or IXP Fellowship for the official name?

I have a logo for either one - see other thread.

Next up, I'll meet with @camoa or @anilu to see the interior page(s) to get going on that branded design.

Status: Received dev env invite from Carlos. Have a functioning local site. Will transfer all over to official dev.
Currently have made the registration in Webform, but will go with a From agent Carlos specified and deep dive further into the form specifics with him and our information needs for each user role.
