As a user to the website, it is convenient for me to have common SSO options, e.g. login via google or login via another service.
Proposed resolution
Add (and do not enable) OpenID Connect module to allow people create any SSO provider block.

nicoloye commentedThis is a choice that has been made in DrupalCon Barcelona between the people that worked on this topic.
We though that all local association would not be interested in having SSO options and so we stated that we could add the module but let it disabled by default.

I was not part of the conversation, but just adding a module to the composer json and not doing anything with it doesn’t seem logical to me.
