When you enable adding media inside the text editor, the media library widget is too small.

In a fresh D10 install the widget has this CSS decleration:

.ui-dialog--narrow.media-library-widget-modal {
  max-width: 75%;
}

In a fresh D11 install the widget has this CSS decleration:

ui-dialog--narrow {
  max-width: 500px;
}

This starts from screen width wider than 768 pixels.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Set up a fresh D11 install
  • Enable Media and Media library module
  • Add the Add media button to the text edito filter
  • Create a new page
  • Add media using the media library

Can confirm; the media-library-widget-modal class is not added to the media library dialog.

I've noticed this problem as well. Trying to track it down.

Can you update the issue summary, providing specific versions please? In that way we can find the commit that changed the behavior.

I have a local site on 10.3.10 and it works fine. I have another local site on 11.0.9 and the media-library-widget-modal class is not appearing.

I've encountered this on a site running 11.0.6, as per the attached screenshot, it does not appear in the openDialog command parameters.
