Problem/Motivation
It appears that the current owner of the Mermaid Integration module (https://www.drupal.org/project/mermaid), ameeuwsen is no longer active on drupal.org.
In #3263816: Request for to become (co)-maintainer of Mermaid, the current co-maintainer, joachim, was granted maintainer access, but not the permission to administer maintainers. As a result, my request to become a co-maintainer (see below) has been blocked.
Two weeks ago, I contacted ameeuwsen (via their d.o contact form), to request co-maintainer access, linking to this ticket. I have not received a response.
Previous issue summary:
I love Mermaid and use it extensively outside of Drupal. I'd really like to be able to use it within Drupal sites as well. I have suggested a couple new features already:
I'm an experienced developer, so I'm pretty confident that I can implement those features, and help to maintain the project overall (eg. #3468720: Drupal 10 release).
Proposed resolution
Transfer ownership of the Mermaid Integration module (https://www.drupal.org/project/mermaid) to joachim, if he is willing to take on that responsibility. If not, please transfer the ownership to me (https://www.drupal.org/u/ergonlogic).
Previous proposed resoluton:
Please add me as a maintainer of the Mermaid project.

ergonlogicI'm escalating this, after waiting 2 weeks for the current owner to respond, per Becoming owner, maintainer, or co-maintainer of a project.

avpadernoThis is the message I sent.
The status has been changed because we are waiting for a reply.
Please post a comment after 14 days are passed, if ameeuwsen has not declined the offer.

I'm not sure if "Needs work" is the appropriate status, but it's my best guess :)
