Problem/Motivation

The Project Browser Initiative wants nice project logos for better UX. The logo will be displayed on the card for your module in the Project Browser (as well as on drupalcode.org as your project avatar, and on drupal.org on your project page).

The Email Registration module needs a logo for this objective.

Proposed resolution

  • Create a logo that is 512x512 square dimension in PNG format without animations.
  • The file size should be 10k or less.
  • Use a lossy image tool (such as pngquant) to reduce the file size while keeping the image quality at around 80%.

MAINTAINERS: Once a logo is reviewed and approved, it should be added to the root folder of your project's repo, and be named logo.png. This must be present on your project’s default branch. If you have a logo as the first image in the Images field on your project page, please remove it. The logo will be displayed on the cards in the Project Browser grid and list views.

Review steps

  1. Review any logos on this ticket.
  2. Provide design feedback if applicable.
  3. If multiple logos are provided, choose your preferred one.
  4. Ensure logo meet the requirements:
    • 512px by 512px square
    • PNG format
    • no animations
    • 10k file size or less
    • reasonable image quality
    • visually represents the project

Thanks! Seems fine... not sure there's a way to capture the "registration" part so much. Perhaps adding an RSVP but this seems okay as is. Someone can move to needs work if they feel strongly it needs updating.

Indeed I don't see the "Registration" part covered enough. Perhaps better use a key or something like this, representing Registration?

The module uses email address instead of username for registration FYI. That should be transported by the wonderful logo, if possible.

Hi @anybody,
AFAIU from the comment on #5, you've suggested to incorporate something which depicts the 'registration' aspect. I'm a bit sceptical about showing a key to illustrate the 'registration' aspect as that is being used in encryption sort of things.
On the other hand, Drupal already provides an email field while new account creation, so the module specifically comes handy in terms of login via email, thus I've shown more of a login form, also with an alternative of button text as 'registration' to give out an idea of login/register users based on their presence on the platform.

Thanks @manojsaha I like v2 while v3 is no option, as it's using a brand name. Other maintainers should decide which one to pick. Did you ensure that there are no license issues with this?

There's no license issue with the v2 logo. In addition, I think you have hidden the wrong logo file. The logo v3 needs to be hidden but you have hidden the logo v2.
I'm hiding the logo v3 as you have chosen the logo v2.
