Why is there nothing to download a year after the project was created? Has this been abandoned?

Looks like a dead package to me indeed. I think there are other facebook module though. But not all for D6 yet.

This project needs to be removed from Drupal, there is obviously no work being done.

CodyCraven: Considering it abandoned/orphaned would be a first step. I'll port it to D6 and make a patch available here shortly.
