Problem/Motivation

This helpful module has some open issues and doesn't seem to be very well maintained. For example it also has some mismatches with Drupal standards in all areas.

See the list of RTBC'd issues that have not been handled by the maintainer since months.

For that reason and because we're using the module actively in some projects, I'd like to offer maintainership for the module.

Seems like even the Gitlab module repo configuration is broken? Issue forks are not created as expected.

I now sent the following message to @yunke:
"Hi yunke,

thank you very much for your module https://www.drupal.org/project/commerce_custom_checkout_message

Are you actively maintaining this Drupal module?

I left some corrections month ago but never received a reply on the issues:
https://www.drupal.org/project/issues/commerce_custom_checkout_message?c...

If not, could you please confirm that it's okay for you to help as maintainer:

This is the message I sent to yunke.

Hello jun,

I am contacting you because Julian (https://www.drupal.org/u/anybody) offered to become maintainer for Commerce custom checkout message pane (https://www.drupal.org/project/commerce_custom_checkout_message), a project you created for which you are project owner and sole maintainer.

May you post a comment on https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3431431 about accepting or declining the offer? Without a comment posted on that issue in the next 14 days, Julian will be probably made maintainer.

Neither project moderators nor site moderators will remove the existing maintainers/co-maintainers; the project owner will not be replaced either. Maintainers cannot change the project owner; co-maintainers/maintainers can only be removed/added by people who have the permission to administer co-maintainers/maintainers.

I am contacting all the people who can administer co-maintainers/maintainers for the project. In this case, that is just you.

Best regards,
Alberto Paderno

Thank you @apaderno :)

@apaderno: Any feedback yet?

@apaderno: Sorry to ask again, but issues like this are really cumbersome for users: #3376134: Remove website URL from pane as example

So if we can't fix this soon I'd create a fork without this advertisement as part of the module. Just one example...

@Anybody We wait 14 days from the moment the maintainers are contacted by a project moderator or a site moderator. I contacted yunke on May 1.

@apaderno sorry my mistake, I should have known that -.- My apologies.
So let's wait for tomorrow.
