Toolbar in dark mode has active/hover buttons colored white after updating to 10.2.x

Gin toolbar in dark mode has active/hover buttons background colored white after updating to 10.2.x. Before (10.1.x), hover/active buttons had text color changed, now instead, they are white in background color, which does not really look nice.

This happens both when in the frontend theme or in the admin theme. Only happens with "Horizontal, Modern Toolbar" navigation type

I use https://www.drupal.org/project/gin_toolbar to get toolbar to the frontend theme, but does not really matter likely since this happens on the admin pages aswell.
