Open Social's 11 and 12 version plan.

Problem/Motivation

In this issue we'd like to share with your our plan for the 11 and 12 versions, which include Drupal 9 and Drupal 10 support.

As all Open Social’s 11 versions have Drupal 9 installed and Drupal 9 being officially announced EOL - https://www.drupal.org/psa-2023-11-01 we are stopping the official support for the 11 versions of Open Social. Which leads to only the 12 version being reflected on our Drupal.org page.

This does not mean the 11 versions of Open Social are gone. This is just a clear visualisation of what version is supporting Drupal 10, as apparently for distributions there is no clear distinction to show which versions of Drupal Core are supported as it's done for modules.

Further development

This also means the 11 versions of Open Social will not be developed further, unless we obviously have critical issues in an update path that we need to tackle, but considering that runs on an older Drupal version with dependencies (Symfony / Twig / PHP and more) we’re not developing any features for those versions anymore.
