I will contact him too, as site moderator. He is the only project maintainer; the other users don't have the permission to add co-maintainers/maintainers.

I contacted the project owner. This is the message I sent.

Hello adcillc,

I am contacting you because Stephen (https://www.drupal.org/u/smustgrave) offered to co-maintain the Slack module (https://www.drupal.org/project/slack), a project you created, for which you are project owner and maintainer.

May you add a comment in https://www.drupal.org/project/slack/issues/3328614 about accepting or declining the offer? Without a comment posted in that issue, Stephen will be probably made co-maintainer (user with all the permissions on the project, except the one to administer co-maintainers/maintainers). The other co-maintainers won't be removed, nor will the project owner change.
I am contacting only you, since the other users with the permission to commit code in that project don't have the permission to administer co-maintainers/maintainers.

Best regards,
Alberto Paderno

I am changing status, since we are waiting for a reply.
