The node.api.php and the node.module files mention a node_access_example.module file, but that file isn't part of Drupal core, and it has never been.

The references to that file need to be removed.

It's actually a module included in the Examples for Developers project, but in the Drupal 7 branch. That module isn't present in the Drupal 8 branch.

Removing the reference to that module is correct, since it's not included in Drupal core and it doesn't have a Drupal 8 version.
