Now that we have the ability to create multiple source plugins for Project Browser data / sources, we should create developer documentation and a "how-to" about how to create one. This could come in the form of a README and/or a "project_browser_example" sub-module. Feedback welcome. I think starting with a README or a page in the d.o handbook would be a good start.

This should also define the "contract" for what properties a source plugin implementation must provide.

Fran and I did this by having code that documents it, and it's in the README. This is also mentioned in the handbook.
