Problem/Motivation

Hi,
I added 2 lenght related policies:
The last one "constraint" is "Password character length of at most 80 characters"
But the "status" for that is always when refreshing the page
"Fail - New role was added or existing password policy changed. Please update your password."
That text content is unrelated to a "lenght" policy.

when i checked i am able to see this message which is correct i think.
Maybe try clearing cache once and then check.

Hi,

The problem comes using the anonymous user while registering and providing a password, (when you add a second lenght constraint in the same policy)

  1. create a password policy "lenght"
  2. add 2 constraints: 1. password character lenght "minimum lenght" add second password character lenght "maximum lenght"
  3. save
  4. log out, try to register to the site and enter password. Under the password box there are these:
lenght 	Fail - Password length must be at least 8 characters.
lenght 	Fail - New role was added or existing password policy changed. Please update your password.

where the text:" Fail - New role was added or existing password policy changed. Please update your password."
even clearing caches.

I put a validation to not show the error message when the user is anonymous
