Drupal 10 will require composer 2.3.5 or higher.
This will be hard requirement when using Drupal 10 with automatic updates.
Drupal may continue to install and update from the command line with versions lower than composer 2.3.5, however bug reports will only be accepted for supported versions.
Composer can be updated by running composer self-update.
