Hi there! I've been blogging about Drupal for a long time but never had my stuff in Drupal Planet. Back in the day I used Jekyll which made custom RSS feeds difficult, but now I use Drupal+Tome. I added the feed (https://www.drupal.org/aggregator/sources/2013) since it passed validation. It doesn't show articles because the ones created more than three months and three weeks ago are discarded.

Thank you apaderno! Are images recommended in the feed as well? Is there a standard format for that?

Images are welcome; I would not forbid them, as they can be worth a thousand words.
Unfortunately, Planet Drupal doesn't give much details about images. As long as an article isn't just images, and the images are appropriate for the article and the audience, I don't see any reason not to use them.

Modern browsers should support PNG images. Either JPEG or PNG should be fine.
