Gave this a month. As we continue to make process on the SHS side in issues like #3257879: hook_shs_term_data_response_alter isn't being processed when users can't access unpublished revisions and the caching fixes in the 2.0.0-rc3 of SHS, we need this module to be compatible with SHS 2.0 and the future core updates to content moderation statue for taxonomies.
