Cannot filter by term with special characters

Problem/Motivation

We can not use taxonomy terms with special characters as a filter field for a content search

Steps to reproduce

Create parent tag in Content tags library with special characters, for example "|".
Create any child tags for the newly created tag
Add created child tag(s) to the existing/new content
Reindex search content
Go to the content search page and try to filter by added child tag

Proposed resolution

Change the function which converted term names to the field names to replace any of special characters
