Project: jQuery Update » Drupal.org project ownership
Version: 7.x-2.x-dev »
Component: Miscellaneous » Maintaining offer

Moving to the project ownership queue per the Taking over unsupported (abandoned) projects policy.

The project in question is:

https://www.drupal.org/project/jquery_update

The main issue where I have been trying to engage with the existing maintainer(s) to move this project forward is:

#3166985: [Proposal] provide supported / recommended jQuery versions for Security coverage

I have also had conversations in drupal slack, in (private) security.drupal.org issues, and I have tried to move things along through mutual acquaintances / colleagues. There's been no direct contact since late 2020.

I have the security vetted role / permission to opt-in to security coverage.

Please let me know if any more info is required.

mcdruid,
thank you for offering to maintain this.

This is a critical issue. I think it shall be a vast improvement of our ecosystem to let the DST get hands-on on this.

Jeff Robbins has not been active in the underlying issue #3166985: [Proposal] provide supported / recommended jQuery versions for Security coverage, and hasn't been active here since 2020.

I've added mcdruid as maintainer.
