larowlan	looking forward to watching a few sessions on decoupled, one from bbrala about wordproof and some about mautic/unomi

Kristen Pol (she/her)	Being done with my session:) time zones made it hard to watch things but I did watch a replay of the Driesnote and was happy with the progress on D10 initiatives... I wasn't surprised that contribution in general is down... lockdown life can be draining
James Shields	Lots of great stuff, but one highlight I have to mention is LJ's musical creativity (and Rubik's cube solving) talk.

larowlan	we breathed life into #1014086: Stampedes and cold cache performance issues with css/js aggregation through triage
James Shields	I started work on this issue at DrupalCon Europe, and have almost got all of the test cases to pass.#2878513: Forbid view/edit/delete in ContactMessageAccessControlHandler

larowlan	I spent a couple of years on #patchaday wondering if we should do a 'bug of the day' to triage?
Griffyn Heels	How does one get nominated/proposed?
larowlan	someone (or a group) decide on an issue that is old and needs a triage, we post a thread each day, and folks chime in
quietone	Worth a try. It do like that it focuses attention - it can be overwhelming to select and issue from the many that need triage.
larowlan	yeah, and the number of concurrent threads during triage can get overwhelming
larowlan	(or maybe that's just me)
larowlan	if we think its a good idea, should we limit it to weekdays? (I wish I did that for patchaday :sob:)
quietone	Sounds good. Need to skip the day the there is a triage meeting, I guess.
darvanen	While I agree the multiple threads can be overwhelming, by limiting the set to one (per anything) I think we lose some of the benefits of seeing and discussing a group of related issues, makes it pretty easy to see overlaps.
larowlan	that's a good point, so if we did do the one a day, we should keep them related (edited)
larowlan	e.g. October is token month :joy:
darvanen	That could help I guess.Also, personally I find it easier to contribute an hour or two once a fortnight than 10-20 minutes (?) every day, but I'm just one person.
darvanen	Or are we suggesting this in addition to the regular triage meeting?
larowlan	yeah I think so, my time is the opposite of yours, 10-20 mins a day I can find, bigger chunks less so
lendude	Anybody got some Slack App building foo? We got all the node IDs for all the currently open bugs, can we write an app that just randomly picks one and posts it once per day? Otherwise picking one and posting it could become a bit of a hassle
lendude	And true random sampling would probably throw some things up that we would never think of touching otherwise, we all have our biases :slightly_smiling_face:
larowlan	I've built them before, but you need a container running node somewhere
lendude	Ok, needing node sounds like a bit too much, how about this, added it to https://lendude.gitlab.io/bug-smash-initiative/, top of the page, so when somebody has time they can copy paste that into the channelThat something we can use? Would save us that trouble of finding a good issue every day
