Work out what to include in the next stable release of the Date module for Drupal 7.
The new 7.x-3.x branch will include a major rewrite of the all-day functionality, including adding a new value to all date fields at the database level. Because of this we're doing a whole new branch instead of just another point release.

steinmb commentedWhen a head and created #3211635: Plan for Date 7.x-3.0-alpha2 I personally think we should try and keep this release as narrow as possible allowing us to get this out the door as quickly as possible. Suggest moving less critical issues to this plan.

damienmckennaWe're trying to clarify what goes in 2.12 and then plan for other fixes for 2.13.

steinmb commentedSuggest we move #3202956: Timepicker conflicts with end date settings to next release.

howdytom commentedThanks for still maintaining Date module for Drupal 7.
Do you have any release date for 7.x-2.12 which fixes the 'Date All Day' submodule?

steinmb commentedDamien is currently working on #3202962: Expand field specification with new element for "all day" - When this is done is #3201878: Provide update script to update all-day fields converting to the new storage format. Feel free to help out in the issues.

damienmckennaFor anyone paying attention, in #3202962 I have a working solution to rework how the "all day" system works, but I need help testing it. Can everyone please help testing it on their NON-PRODUCTION site? Thank you.

damienmckennaI'm repurposing this to create a new 7.x-3.x release using the new field because the fix for the all-day functionality will require a major API change. If I'd had a time machine I would have made this change a long time ago, but I sold mine on ebay already.

damienmckennaI think some of the issues listed should be moved to beta2..
damienmckennaTaking a slight step back, it'll be worth having a 7.x-2.12 release so sites can have some bug fixes while we do the all-day fixes elsewhere.
