Hi all,

In my Project I had a parent term called Parent and within that I had child terms. This was all part of one taxonomy called Mega Parent. The url alias pattern was set to parent[0]/parent[1]/nameofpage as an example.

Parent
------Child A
------Child B
------Child C

Now as part of the project I had to change the name of the terms and make them the parent so I did that by changing each child term to a root so that now they all sit on the same level.

Parent
Child A
Child B
Child C

Once they were on the same level I then changed the name of Child A to Child AA. I removed the Parent from the taxonomy as that was no longer needed and then from the url Alias pattern I removed parent[1] so now the pattern is set to parent[0]/nameofpage and the taxonomy hierarchy looks like below.

Child AA
Child B
Child C

So now when I want to regenerate the URL Alias so to the new pattern I keep getting the message no url alias to generate. I have tried the options

Update the URL alias for paths having an old URL alias
Regenerate URL aliases for all paths

However the strange thing is that if I go into the node I see the tagging is there and the generate url alias checkbox is preticked and then when I click on save then it only updates the url. I have about 6000 nodes and I do not want to go into each one of them and click on save.

Could someone please help me?

Thank you.
