Drupal Usability Meeting 2021-02-19 [#3198188]

The meetings are held using Zoom, and a link is posted in the #ux Slack channel 10 minutes before the meeting. Agenda is first come, first serve and set by attendees. Use the Needs usability review issue tag for issues that need review and/or suggest issues in comments here.

We discussed the following issues:

#3087535: In WYSIWYG embed modal for existing images, the alt text field should have a default value instead of placeholder text
Changes to the Contribute to Usability guide and related pages
#540008: Add a container parameter that can remove the special behavior of UID#1

Regarding the second point, we agreed to move the Drupal 8 User Experience page from the list of active community initiatives to the inactive ones.

We decided to return to #540008 at the next meeting.

NR and RTBC issues marked Needs usability review.

It would be good to spend a few minutes going through the D8UX page

and see what is currently being worked on, what would still be good to do, what was done, and what has been abandoned.

As a result of the discussion of this meeting, I edited the D8UX initiative page to:
a) Move it under Previous/Inactive initiatives. The new URL is
https://www.drupal.org/community-initiatives/previousinactive-initiative...
(the old one will still redirect)

b) In the heading, say it's not active and point people to the Contribute to Usability page, which is at:
https://www.drupal.org/community/contributor-guide/contribution-areas/us...
