Problem/Motivation
Ajax Comments Box won't close after submitting in Bootstrap
I have noticed this multiple times in past versions, but forgot to post the issue.
I first noticed this on my Cellphone OS Samsung Android, but then realized that it is also the case on my laptop
When commenting on a Topic or Event , upon click/tapping the submit button, the Ajax spinner works but the form doesn't close.
This leaves the user believing that their comment didn't post so they retry several times. But if you refresh the browser, it turns out that the comment did submit and has been repeated multiple times.
Then if you try to delete, the same issue exists and you never know until you refresh how many remain!
I actually deleted five of six duplicate comments in a post and the counter showed 7 comments where it should have said one.
When I returned to my computer, it seems that I succeeded in removing all but the original and the counter reflected one comment.
Obviously the average user wouldn't have a clue on how to deal with this and most likely would leave the repeated comments and possibly not return!
Steps to reproduce
Try commenting on a Topic on a cellphone and see i if once submitted the form box closes. If not try submitting again. If it still doesn't close, refresh the cell's browser and see if the comment is duplicated.
May only be an Android issue, I have no way of checking !
Revised... This issue is in all formats and has returned since the latest updates to Open Social 8.x-9.2

bas123 commentedI just realized that the ability to reply to a comment is also disabled!

bas123 commentedThe following two (open and closed) screenshots serve as a (hopefully temporary) alert to user/members that the Comments in Posts features is not functioning properly.
This seems like the only way to divert certain complaints regarding a non functioning of the website overall!

ronaldtebrake commentedMarking this as fixed, the module should work much more stable right now.
Any issues you encounter can hopefully be added as a new ticket so we can easily track it from now on.
