Core migration issues:

0️⃣ Who is here today?

damienmckenna
quietone Kia ora!
dinarcon Hello

1️⃣ What should we talk about today? Suggest topics here and I will add threads.

damienmckenna @quietone has made some good progress on solving Commerce Migrate branch problems this week, while @huzooka and @wimleers (he/him) have made huge progress on Media Migration.
damienmckenna So if nothing else I'd like to applaud them for the great work.
quietone Find a way to get reviews done
benjifisher I am sure they would appreciate reviews on some of the core issues related to this work. For example,#3166930: Migrated filters may have invalid/incomplete settings applied
benjifisher I did a quick review of #3167267: MigrateExecutable should catch not only exceptions, but also fatal errors and added a couple of Novice-level tasks. Also, it still needs tests. So back to NW.
quietone I assigned #3167267: MigrateExecutable should catch not only exceptions, but also fatal errors to review this week
quietone Hah, no I didn't benjifisher replied. Thanks!
benjifisher Mostly I looked at it because I did not know that (most) errors could be caught.

2️⃣ Action items. To be added later.

3️⃣ Statistics

benjifisher Fixed: One issue since last week.
benjifisher RTBC: Just two. Both Normal priority, neither has been waiting more than a week since the last comment.
benjifisher RTBC: 55, including 18 that have not been updated in more than two months; five are Major priority

4️⃣ [backport] Migrate d7 menu translation

benjifisher #3112249: Migrate d7 menu translation
benjifisher This was recently committed to 9.1.x, may be backported to 9.0.x. It was RTBC, but it needs a reroll.

5️⃣ Move memory management from MigrateExecutable to an event subscriber

benjifisher #3006750: Remove memory management from MigrateExecutable
benjifisher No progress since last week. :disappointed:
quietone It is just the test. I don't know how to implement the suggestion. Maybe someone else can?

6️⃣ Switch to entity owner in EntityContentBase during validation

benjifisher #3134470: Switch to entity owner in EntityContentBase during validation
benjifisher No progress since last week. :disappointed: Updating the patch based on the most recent review may be a Novice-level task.

7️⃣ Expose full set of debugging data in migrate_message table (filterable/searchable)

benjifisher #3063856: Add ability to view migrate_message table data
benjifisher NR. No progress since last week. :disappointed:

8️⃣ MigrateUpgradeImportBatch does not use source_private_file_path ...

benjifisher #2925899: MigrateUpgradeImportBatch does not use source_private_file_path & source_base_path correctly, making it impossible to have public & private files in separate locations
benjifisher NR. No progress since last week. :disappointed:
quietone @benjifisher Have you read the my comment here. #2925899: MigrateUpgradeImportBatch does not use source_private_file_path & source_base_path correctly, making it impossible to have public & private files in separate locations#comment-13769601 I think this should go back to RTBC but should have your input.
benjifisher I asked about that at last week's meeting. If Alex Pott is satisfied based on your off-line conversation, then does it still need my approval?

9️⃣ Wrap up

benjifisher These meetings have been quiet lately, and today's has been very quiet.
benjifisher I will update 2️⃣ (and it will be a lot like last week's version). Please continue to add comments in the threads. In 1-7 days, I will post a transcript for today's meeting.
dinarcon Thanks for keeping the lights on Benji! :raised_hands:
