New FIELD prefix & suffix pair have been added in the 8.x-1.2

Site builders, administrators, editors

New instance settings:

  • FIELD Prefix (empty by default)
  • FIELD Suffix (empty by default)

New formatter setting (applies to the Default formatter):

  • Display FIELD value prefix and suffix (FALSE by default)

Themers

Module templates have been updated to reflect this change:

New twig variables were added: {{ field_prefix }} and {{ field_suffix }} to both range-formatter-range-combined.html.twig and range-formatter-range-separate.html.twig templates.

Module developers/Themers

The range field widget has been slightly modified in order to implement this new feature. Might affect those who altered the widget in custom code.
