Frontpage View of the site, Pager links have ../?destination=/&_exception_statuscode=404&page=1 in the URL, where as normally they would be ../?page=1

After manually clearing all caches, affected URLs revert back to normal clean URLs, but the issue returns every few days.

Both the default .htaccess file and AllowOverride All directive in Apache config is present, along witr Drupal 8 .htaccess example rules too:

        RewriteEngine on
        RewriteBase /
        RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
        RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
        RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !=/favicon.ico
        RewriteRule ^ index.php [L]

Other individuals have reported experiencing this issue too as outlined in this thread, however, the .index.php issue is NOT present.

For more information see the Drupal core minor version schedule and the Allowed changes during the Drupal core release cycle.

Version: 9.5.x-dev » 11.x-dev

Drupal core is moving towards using a “main” branch. As an interim step, a new 11.x branch has been opened, as Drupal.org infrastructure cannot currently fully support a branch named main. New developments and disruptive changes should now be targeted for the 11.x branch.
