This issue is similar to https://www.drupal.org/project/recurring_events/issues/3124057:

If another role has all the same permissions as the Admin role, the options to delete Series and Instances with Operations are not visible to any user with that role. This is in the Operations selector in the /admin/content/events/instances and /admin/content/events/series pages.

Also, if 'Edit' is clicked in the Operations selector in /admin/content/events/series and /admin/content/events/instances access is denied to the Edit page of that event.
