I can confirm there isn't any unpublished post. The only posts are this issue and the automatic comment created for the user.

What is stopping you from making comments on issues?

Even without the 'confirmed' role, you should be able to comment.

yes, you should upload your patch to the issue queue where it belongs.

Just to make clear: You can upload a patch to an issue queue without having the 'confirmed' role (like you just did – you just uploaded it to the wrong issue queue).

Have you tried to post a comment with your patch attached to #3122957: Show search field by default??
