I would like to request to be added as a co-maintainer, or better yet a maintainer, on this project. It appears that it has been some time since any of the issues in the issue queue have been worked, and the code is outdated. We happen to use this project on several client projects and would love to update the codebase to get it ready for Drupal 9.

Thank you for stepping up and offering to maintain this module. Some of the project's co-maintainers, including keshav.k, has been active on Drupal.org this year, but the owner's last activity was back in 2019.

However, the protocol for becoming a maintainer says you should contact the current project owner via the contact tab on their Drupal.org user profile page (and/or other means of contact that exists) to let them know about the issue you posted about the maintainig offer. There is no record of this being done. Please complete this step, and add the details (who, means of contact and when) to the issue summary in the field where now says "missing".

I am postponing for now. Come back in two weeks and set it to “Needs review” if there has been no response after you've tried to contact current owner.

I did contact keshav.k through the contact tab back when I initiated the request to become a maintainer, but I'll do so again. Thanks!

lhridley,
please re-reread comment #6, as well as the checklist I've put in the issue summary.

You're supposed to contact the owner, whose username is andyceo.

keshav.k is not this project's owner. He is just a co-maintainer on this project. That means that he does not have the permission to add any more maintainers to the project. Even if he had responded (which he hasn't) there would be nothing he can do.

Your direct message to keshav.k 4 Jun 2020, 11:09am EST is unfortunately not helpful to get this resolved.

Thank you!

It may be an idea to PM Stuart Greenfield as well. He has been absent since 2011, so it is unlikely he will respond. But it doesn't cost anything to try. As a full maintainer, he can add you as a maintainer if he responds.
