Plan for Address 8.x-1.10 release

List of child issues is now looking mostly crossed out. ;) I agree this is a pretty good list, although I haven't thoroughly triaged the entire open issues queue.

Remaining TODO:

#2626982: Allow to set a list of preferred countries
#2881391: The locality.name data is missed in PlainFormater
#2958971: Rename the label of AddressField::ORGANIZATION from "Company" to "Organization"
#3088084: Limit choices for 'Country contextual filter' to arguments pointing to a country

2 of those are NR.
1 is NW.
1 is active.

Seems we're pretty close to being able to ship 8.x-1.8...

Reviews + help most welcome in all 4 issues.

It's not everything that was planned, but I needed the D9 fixes out, as well as #3105484: Broken #ajax in ZoneTerritory.

Repurposing this issue for 1.9.

I was sad to have to revert #2995992: Country field should display the "- Select -" option to match core behavior. Hoping to look into the Commerce-specific bugs soon.

Cool, thanks for the 8.x-1.8 release. Still an impressive list of improvements and fixes, even if we didn't get to everything listed in here.

mglaman released 1.9 for 8.8 compatibility.

So let's plan 1.10 instead.

#2828128: Stop performing subdivision-level postal code validation has landed so that's a major first step.

I don't think #2958971: Rename the label of AddressField::ORGANIZATION from "Company" to "Organization" is safe to do in the current branch, best leave it for 2.0 (fine with opening it whenever, though).
