The issue regarding cookie cleanup using the 5 second interval still persists due to previous patches only being partially applied. See attached patch, which fixes the issue.

There are two previous issues which have been addressed, but have not been fixed properly in the current version:

In the latest dev we can see the old code again. @svenryen, could you please check that?

@Martijn Houtman could you perhaps explain why that happens? Which influence does that namespace have? I'd like to understand that...
