We noticed that the current 1.x version keeps popup up in Internet Explorer 11, even after agreeing. Debugging gave us that the cookie was reset after a couple of seconds. This is due to the setInterval in Drupal.behaviors.eu_cookie_compliance_popup_block_cookies, which unsets all cookies, unless whitelisted. This interval is supposed to be reset in Drupal.eu_cookie_compliance.acceptAction, but the variable it is using is incorrectly scoped in Drupal.behaviors.eu_cookie_compliance_popup_block_cookies, and can therefor not be cleared.

The fix is to give the euCookieComplianceBlockCookies variable the correct scope. Patch will be attached.

8.x is unaffected.

Thanks, looks good. Odd that it worked in other browsers.

Ran into the same issue, IE11 users would just keep getting the prompt. The patch in #2 resolved it for me.

Marking this as duplicate of #2994592: Deletes cookies every 5s because the fix there includes this one and it gets rid of the D8 copy+paste that makes this code useless.
