My adsense ads show up fine when no user is logged in, and they appear to work fine when I am logged in as "waynemwyatt" to my site. But, when I am logged in as "wmw", my admin user, no ads show up, just the box with the text that I typed in during the setup of adsense (which is something like 'want to advertise here?, contact us'). Has anyone seen anything like this before. Why is this happening? One more thing, my site is not online right now, it's only on my local server. If you can help, email me at waynemwyatt@gmail.com or reply to this post. Thank you for taking the time to review this.

I saw a comment in the code, on the page where the ads are not showing up, and it says something like adsense-placeholder. How do I not have it show the placeholder text and show the ads?

I read somewhere that you can set the system to replace served ads with a place holder when you are logged in as an administrator. I must have done this. How do I undo this?

Thanks.

For those that care:

Home » Administer » Site configuration » AdSense
Then the settings tab, and expand Advanced Options

That is where you can define the placeholder text. The adsense module is designed so that when the administrator is logged in to not display any ads (Google doesn't want the admins to be clicking on their own ads for revenue, and for good reason [it's against their policy :) ].)

I guess I should have just put a little more thought into this before putting up this forum post. Thanks.
