Should the preferred IM tool(s) and the account(s) be considered? For example, some drupal people might use Telegram/WhatsApp/WeChat only
Display something like the below:

drumm#3130371: Add a "Has completed Code of Conduct contact training" checkbox to user entity will update the same field, so these issues might be convenient to resolve in the same deployment.

drummBoth Slack & Drupal Answers options are now available.
For contact via IM, that’s a separate issue. I don’t think we need to collect all of these. For community contribution, many-to-many platforms are best, to encourage collaboration. If you’d like to put your personal contact information out in the open, for offering Drupal services/etc, you can always put it in your bio or websites field.
