Please transfer ownership of ref_field to me. https://drupal.org/project/ref_field . It is marked as abandonned, it needs some TLC as it currently does not support PHP 7.2.x however there is a working patch. My plan is to release a version with this patch.

I will take over maintainership of this module as one of my current clients require this module.

I realize that this project is deprecated by entity reference however there is currently no 'easy' upgrade path so it is far easier for those currently using the project to have support for it.

Main motivation for supporting this is for php 7.0.x , 7.1.x , 7.2.x , 7.3.x compatibility

Maybe when drupal moves to gitlab we can simply fork but now transfer abandoned projecte it's better than duplicate and republish the projecte with other name.

actually , the version 2.x branch is adding functionality using entity_reference as a dependency, so it doesn't really make sense to abandon this project.

We need to support php 7.x , let's do it!
