ram4nd is offering to co-maintain the Drupal 7 of the branch. jlscott wanted to become co-maintainer, 3 years ago, but he is no longer interested in the module.

Original issue

Hi @bartk. I am willing to become a co-maintainer in order to get the D8 version of the module through to a stable release. Cheers.

I am closing this issue as it hasn't been moved to the appropriate issue queue. I take the OP lost interest in maintaining the module.

@kiamlaluno. Yes. You are right. Your response has been too slow, and I have lost interest. By the way, what is "the appropriate issue queue" that you were expecting?

ram4nd’s picture

I think the next step is to make an issue for the module overtaking.

@kiamlaluno. I apologise for implying you were the maintainer of the module. I see now that you are just cleaning up old issues. I am no longer interested in this module.

@ram4nd Are you still willing to become co-maintainer? If it's so, please ping this issue between 14 days; otherwise, change the status back to Closed (outdated).
If you are interested, I will contact the project owner.

I am a Drupal.org site moderator. I check the requests to become maintainer/co-maintainer, including the ones that still have to land on the Drupal.org project ownership queue, hoping to accelerate them.

As side note, this project opted into security advisory coverage.
It means that only users with the vetted role are added as co-maintainers/maintainers from Drupal.org site moderators. In this case, only ram4nd has that role.

Ok, I am willing to maintain D7 part.

@ram4nd I am going to contact the project maintainer about making you a new co-maintainer.

Well if you mean the contact form in Drupal, I already have.

I contacted the current project owner.

Hello BartK,

I am contacting you because Ra Mänd (https://www.drupal.org/u/ram4nd) offered to co-maintain the Allow All File Extensions module (https://www.drupal.org/project/allow_all_file_extensions) you created.
May you post a comment at https://www.drupal.org/project/allow_all_file_extensions/issues/2982474, saying if you accept or decline the offer? Without a comment on that issue in the next 10 days, Ra Mänd will be probably added as co-maintainer.

Best regards,
kiamlaluno

@ram4nd If BartK doesn't reply in 10 days, or he replies and accepts the offer, but he doesn't add you as co-maintainer, please ping this issue.

I am postponing this issue, waiting for a reply from BartK.
