Option to allow users to add new taxonomy terms from within the tree view - could be a huge time saver :)

ie. during node creation form or editing a node, instead of having to create the terms first.

Perhaps by providing a button in the tree to add new terms, that shows a new icon at all levels to click and enter new term name.
I saw a similar approach here https://www.drupal.org/project/term_reference_autocreate

Hi,
I see this is already asked for from 2013! https://www.drupal.org/project/term_reference_tree/issues/1891638
Are there plans to have the option to add terms to the list? It would be a mindblowing timesaver!

Thanks for your reply in advance.

greetings, Martijn

Yes please, that would be awesome, so much easier and better for newbies!

I have been using this widget for a long time now, even in places where i would be tempted to use "chosen" within a select list (with type ahead search and select), because the traditional methods don't show hierarchies that well and easy like this one here does so well.

Temporary Workaround
Otherwise I will have to include some instruction text inside the widget OR within the category field description for some admins to point out that they can add new terms via the Taxonomy Manager and perhaps link that to "/admin/structure/taxonomy_manager/voc/" and ofcourse emphasize they need to reload the node edit form for the new term to appear :).
