The module is way to great to not be maintained!

Don't fork it. Follow the procedures for dealing with an abandoned project:

@drupalgin - Are you still interested in being a co-maintainer? If not, I'm going to start down the abandoned project path.

I thought I submitted this earlier but apparently I failed to click submit. I used to assist in maintaining this module but have been absent for some time. I may have some time available to dive in and help get things cleaned up. Give me a little bit of time to review the current status and open issues. Also, FYI - I'll be starting with patches that are marked RTBC. If there are open items you'd like to see included please test and provide feedback to make the job of cleaning this project up easier. I'll also review the tickets linked above.
