Your response will help shape the future of the Drupal business ecosystem.I recently added a new vocabulary with two terms to my site, and now these two terms from the new vocabulary are showing up on the /tagclouds page. Why would this happen? This causes dead links on the /tagclouds page because these terms at set to display a 404 page.
In addition, how can you remove all the extra pages this module produces? For example, I don't want a tagclouds/list/[vocabulary_ID] page for every vocabulary, ONLY the "tags" vocabulary. This is not good for Google analytics to have useless pages. Similar to why you don't want www.mysite.com/taxonomy/term/[TERM_ID] pages in certain instances.
For example, these pages are useless:
www.mysite.com/tagclouds/list/2
www.mysite.com/tagclouds/list/3
www.mysite.com/tagclouds/list/4 .... is this my tag vocabulary and this should redirect to www.mysite.com/tagclouds

phiscock commentedI’ve used Match Redirect to hide the pages this module creates. It’s not ideal as it doesn’t provide a 404 redirection option but it’s better than nothing.
An ability with the module to turn off or set the permissions for these pages would be far better though.

grask0 commentedD7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
If the issue remains relevant for D10+ versions, merge requests with proposed solutions for a new module version (D10+) are welcome in a new follow-up issue.
