Problem/Motivation

After uninstalling the scheduler module, the node edit form display the title field only. All other fields are disabled. To reproduce the behaviour do the following:

  • Install 8 with standard profile
  • Download and enable scheduler module
  • Configure article to have pubilsh / unpublish date
  • Important step: Go to admin/structure/types/manage/article/form-display and change the form display of the article just a little bit. E.g. move the Body field below the tags field
  • Uninstall the scheduler module

Now the node edit misses several input fields and looks like this:

Hi daniel.bosen,

Thanks for reporting this and uploading the screenshot . However, it has already been discovered in #2850973: ConfigEntityInterface::onDependencyRemoval() called with incorrect dependency list and it is actually a core issue now. That isue was in the Scheduler queue but as it has been moved to core I understand why you did not find it. I think I will leave this new issue open for a while, otherwise someone else will report it here again.

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion!

Hi daniel,

No aplogy needed. Actually it is good to have a repeat issue in the Scheduler queue, so that other users can find it and see that the problem has been reported. Please add a comment on #2850973: ConfigEntityInterface::onDependencyRemoval() called with incorrect dependency list to ping it to the top of the lists so that it might get more exposure.

Thanks mgifford, yes this has been fixed in core. I have now verified this in #2850973-48: ConfigEntityInterface::onDependencyRemoval() called with incorrect dependency list
