Call to a member function getPath() on null in Drupal\config_translation\ConfigNamesMapper->getOverviewRoute() (line 233 of /docroot/core/modules/config_translation/src/ConfigNamesMapper.php).

On enabling search api in my_profile.info.yml by adding search_api in the dependencies list and reinstalling the profile with drush si, I am getting the above error.

Hm, that seems more like a bug in the Config Translation module. But I have no idea what's happening either way, I'll need more information than this. E.g., what's $this->pluginDefinition at the point where the error occurs?
Without more information, I'd have no idea what to do. Then I'd suggest just moving it into the Drupal Core issue queue and hoping for the best.

It could be pretty related with multilingual sites and this thread: https://www.drupal.org/project/password_policy/issues/2703717#comment-11... .

Maybe a route is missing there.

Not sure if that’s the reason, but might very well be – upon closer examination, it seems we have some copy/paste errors in the server entity definition, which look like they might cause the same problems as the missing route definition in password_policy. (And, in any case, we should definitely fix them!)
