Another gmap module?

It's very different from the other ones (which I have used extensively as well). This is targeted at sites which want an easy way to display a map of some location on their site. For programmers this is the easiest way to embed a map in the output of generated content for example: just a simple div, that's all.

But I'll try making the distinction with GMap more clear in the description.

I also suggest you try this module. The distinction becomes very clear then.
