Create a D8 version. Using the Drupal Module Upgrader would probably return a wrong approach and should only be used for reusable parts of code. The basic functionality would likely to be rewritten from scratch.

For D8 it would be wise to split into sub-modules, so only the needed code is active for:

  • HTML
  • JSON
  • XML

We have a Drupal 10/11 version now. Drupal 8/9 is planned, so we keep this issue open.

  • 2.x branch (current): Drupal 10/11, active development
  • 1.x branch (planned): Drupal 8/9, maintenance mode
  • 7.x-1.x branch (legacy): Drupal 7 only, no further development
