I'm trying to get the images on this blog preview and blog page to display but it comes out as a link instead. What do I need to do. The format is set to file in manage display. Image is not an option. Can someone point me in the right direction? Here are the links:

You need to provide additional information ...

However, is the field you want for your image to display, a field you created in a custom content type?

If you created a custom content type with a field for images, I suspect you created the field type as: reference : file ; which is the wrong field type.

If you select field type - reference - image - when creating the field it will provide a host of options for image display and so forth and rendering options will also appear in manage display during further content type configuration.

Ok I've resolved the issues. I had it set to file instead of image.
