Default Number of Multiple Composite Lines

Apologies if this is a duplicate, I wasn't sure of what to title this request, so obviously wasn't exactly sure of what to search for.

I created a composite group using the pre-made Contact composite as a platform, which works great, but I would like to limit the initial number of lines offered to one or two, instead of the 5 which seems to be a default in this case (attached screenshot). (Not sure if the default is somehow related to the number of columns?) I don't readily find a means of limiting the number in the add element interface or in yaml...hopefully I'm not missing something terribly obvious.
